Abstract

The purpose of the study is to examine and theoretically analyze the organization of the land-use system in the agricultural sector from an ecological-economic perspective, as well as to develop conceptual foundations for the transition to environmentally sustainable management. It is proven that modern land use is a multidimensional issue, and the causes of environmental conflicts stem from structural shortcomings in the economic management system, inefficient technologies, and the lack of effective institutional incentives. Two complementary models for ensuring environmental sustainability the territorial model and the component-based model were identified, and their functional objectives were specified. The paper justifies the need to integrate environmental standards into the land resource management system, which involves the development of territorial and functional models for ensuring sustainability. A concept for adaptive measures was proposed that combines environmental regulations, institutional tools, and information and monitoring systems. It was shown that implementing such a model creates the conditions for maintaining soil productivity and increasing the efficiency of agricultural production in the long term.
